We'll take you step by step through the installation process. {% hint style="info" %} We strongly recommend using an external FTP client for uploading files to your server. We'd suggest using [WinSCP](https://winscp.net/eng/download.php), but [FileZilla](https://download.filezilla-project.org/client/FileZilla_3.67.0_win64_sponsored-setup.exe) will work fine as well. {% endhint %} {% hint style="warning" %} **Turn off your server** Make sure your server is **OFFLINE** before starting Step 1! {% endhint %} ## Step #1 -> Set your Server Type (jar file) Set your server version to 26.2 in your panel. You should be looking for something along the lines of "Server Type" or "Jar Manager" on your panel, either on the main page or on the sidebar. In the image below, we'll be using PebbleHost as an example. Alternatively, download the Paper 26.2 jar from .

## Step #2 -> Set your "World" to resource Set your "World" name to "resource" (IN LOWERCASE). Make sure to click "Save" afterwards. Again, we'll be using PebbleHost as an example, but you should be looking for "World" on your main page, or look for a "Settings" page which lets you set the world name.

## Step #3 -> Delete all existing files and directories Since you'll be uploading the files from our setup, you need to all files currently stored on your server. ## Step #4 -> Upload the "server\_files.zip" file Upload the `server_files.zip` file into your main directory. ## Step #5 -> Extract the .zip file You'll want to use the FTP client from your hosting provider to extract a .zip file. Select the file, then click "Extract", "Unzip" or "Unarchive". The wording will differ slightly based on what provider you're using for your hosting.

## Step #6 -> Download the following Plugins There are a few plugins that cannot include in our setup as they are Premium plugins, however some developers allow you to download these for free. Download below: {% hint style="success" %} **MOST are free, BUT... consider supporting these brilliant developers!**\ These developers have produced some fantastic plugins, and while most of the developers allow you to download them for free if you wish, please consider supporting their work by purchasing them!\ \ We have provided links to both the respective paid and free (if applicable) plugins. {% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %} **PlayerWarps** has become a Premium plugin. If you wish to use PlayerWarps on your server, you can purchase the plugin from above. If not, you can ignore this and delete the "PlayerWarps" folder found in the /plugins directory. Alternatively, consider using AxPlayerWarps, [found here](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/axplayerwarps-the-all-in-one-solution-for-free.120321/). {% endhint %} Put all of the above plugins in your /plugins directory. ## Step #7 -> Start up your server Once everything has been extracted, you're good to go! Start up your server and enjoy the setup! {% hint style="info" %} Your server may take longer to boot than normal on the first load, as it generates core server files. Just be patient and allow it time to do its thing! {% endhint %} {% hint style="info" %} You may see some messages from plugins when you join or load up the server telling you updates are available. These messages are only visible to server operators. Please see our FAQ for more information regarding plugin updates. {% endhint %} ## Step #8 -> Granting Permissions To unlock access to all commands, type `op ` in console. You can also type `lp user group set owner` to grant yourself the Owner rank. ## Step #9 -> Fixing Leaderboards You've probably noticed leaderboards aren't working - this is because we have wiped all player data. To fix them, simply type the following commands (you should be able to tab complete them too): * `/ajlb add auraskills_power` * `/ajlb add griefprevention_bonusclaims` * `/ajlb add statistic_mob_kills` * `/ajlb add statistic_time_played` * `/ajlb add vault_eco_balance` * `/ajlb add excellenteconomy_balance_raw_votes` ## Step #10 -> Adjust Envoy Area Head to `/warp envoy` and adjust the location so players don't suffocate. You can `/setwarp envoy` again if you wish to change the location, however enovys will spawn around 0x0 in the Resource world.\ \ You can move the hologram with `/dh movehere EnvoyEvent.`

There will be some more basic configuration required to brand the server as your own, but you'll find out everything you need to do on the next few pages. {% endhint %} # Configuration Now that your server is ready to go, let's get started on customizing the setup to include your own server name and branding. Here's a list of all the files you need to change to your server name: {% hint style="info" %} We'd recommend using an external editor like [Visual Studio Code](https://code.visualstudio.com/download) for editing files, but you can use the built-in editor from your hosting provider as well. {% endhint %} {% hint style="info" %} To generate "small text font" seen on our server, [use this tool](https://mcutils.com/small-text-converter).\ To generate gradients seen on our server, [use this tool](https://www.birdflop.com/resources/rgb/). {% endhint %} `/plugins/AutomaticBroadcast/broadcasts.yml:` Lines 29, 35, 50, 56, 72, 94 -> Replace with your respective vote, store and Discord links `/plugins/DecentHolograms/holograms:` * `welcome.yml` -> Line 12: Use the "small text font" generator above to type out your server name. * `Coins.yml` -> Line 24: Replace "store.yourserver.com" with your store name. Again, use the "small text font" generator seen above. `/plugins/DeluxeMenus/gui_menus`: * `vote.yml` -> Lines 35-40, 73, 100, 132, 159, 192, 220, 252, 279, 312, 339, 372, 399. Replace "yourserver.com" with your server vote link. * `/plugins/DeluxeMenus/gui_menus/coinshop/`: * `All files in this directory:` Replace `ѕᴛᴏʀᴇ.ʏᴏᴜʀѕᴇʀᴠᴇʀ.ᴄᴏᴍ` with your server store URL. * `/plugins/DeluxeMenus/gui_menus/ranks/`: * `All files in this directory:` Replace `store.yourserver.com` with your server store URL. `/plugins/Essentials/custom.txt` -> Line 2: Replace discord.gg/nexstudios with your Discord invite link. `/plugins/Essentials/motd.txt` -> Line 10: Replace entire line with your server name. Using the gradient generator, put `#FCD05C` as gradient 1, `#FDDB99` as gradient 2 and `#FCD05C` as gradient 3. `/plugins/MiniMOTD/main.conf` -> Line 18 & 19: Replace "SERVER NAME" with your server name and change the line2 to whatever you wish to have as the second line of your server MOTD. `/plugins/ServerTutorialPlus/tutorialsaves.yml` -> Lines 28, 34 and 313. Change to your server name in the small font. `/plugins/TAB/config.yml` -> Lines 6, 7, 95, 111, 114, 130 & 148. Replace with your respective URLs/server name/socials. `/plugins/TAB/animations.yml` -> Customise the animations and text seen at the bottom of tab. {% hint style="info" %} Type **/st reload**, then restart your server to apply all of the changes you've made to the configuration files. {% endhint %} # Monetization Running a server requires investment, and you rightly expect a return on that investment. Our server offers fantastic monetization capabilities, with tried and tested methods from our experience of owning our own servers. ## Coins System The Coins System is a fantastic way to incentivize players to spend money on your server. You can give players coins with the command `/coins give .` Below is the recommended pricing for coins we suggest using on your store. {% hint style="info" %} All prices are based on **$USD**. {% endhint %}

## Premium Ranks System Our Premium Ranks system is another fantastic way to monetize your server. We've included 5 Premium ranks on this setup, all bursting with features and eye-catching tags. | Rank | Price | | :-------: | :--------------------------------: | | Iron | FREE (after 30min playtime) | | Gold | $9.99 | | Diamond | $19.99 | | Netherite | $39.99 | | PLUS \[+] | $7.99 per month (requires Diamond) | The \[IRON] rank can be claimed for free from the Iron NPC after 30 minutes of playtime. We recommend keeping it this way, as it is designed to increase player retention rates and also gives some free premium perks to balance the server. ## The PLUS Rank Subscription You may be wondering, what is the PLUS rank? The PLUS rank is a subscription-based addon rank that is applied alongside a player's existing rank. It provides excellent value and ensures you're getting a consistent revenue stream from your most loyal players. This rank is designed to be a **subscription-only** rank, meaning **we do not recommend selling it as a permanent rank**. {% hint style="warning" %} When granting players this rank, you should use **/lp user \ parent addtemp PLUS \** instead of **group set**. This is because it is an **addon** rank and simply provides additional permissions. If you try to give a player the rank by itself, it will have no tag and only the permissions listed below (meaning players lose their rank they had before).\ \ The \ defines how long the player should have the rank for. As this is a monthly subscription, you would put **30d** as the duration. {% endhint %}

# World Generation We **strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly** **(strongly)** recommend pre-generating your worlds on your server before opening your doors to the public. This is because when players use /rtp (random tp), the server tries to find a location for them to go, and to do this it has to load chunks. This can cause intense stress on your server hardware and cause significant lag. Pre-Generating worlds can take quite a few hours, so we'd recommend doing this overnight. It's also quite resource intensive, so ideally you don't want to be doing anything else on your server whilst you're pre-generating your worlds. You'll want to pre-generate four worlds: * Resource * Resource\_nether * Resource\_the\_end * Claiming ## Creating your "Claiming" world {% hint style="info" %} To save file space, a Claiming world is not included in the download. You can easily create your Claiming world by typing the following command: {% endhint %} > Type **/mv create Claiming NORMAL** You've now created your Claiming world! Follow the next steps below to find out how to pre-generate your worlds. ## How to Pre-Generate Worlds * Enter each world and type **/worldborder set 6000**. This will set your world size to 6kx6k. (Yes, this isn't a typo! You'll find out why it's 6,000 in a moment). * Then, type **/chunky worldborder \** * Then, type **/chunky start** * Repeat the process for each world, and wait a few hours for it to complete. You can check console for updates on its progress, as well as an ETA. * Once the world pre-generation is complete, type **/worldborder set 5000**. The additional 500 blocks on each side of the world is used as a "buffer" so that players can't just fly to the border and load in chunks, causing lag. {% hint style="warning" %} This will take a few hours to complete, but it is **essential** to do to ensure your server performance is optimal. {% endhint %} # Frequently Asked Questions {% hint style="success" %} On this page you'll find a list of frequently asked questions. What does the \[0] mean in chat?** > The \[0] you see in chat is your **Skill Level**. The number will increase as you level up your /skills. ### 2. How do I set up Voting? > Every aspect of voting is ready to go, you just need to add your keys to server voting lists. [Refer to this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7JrZPElrLo) to find out how to set up Votifier. > > **NOTE:** You do NOT need to set up rewards like it says in the video - this is already done for you. Just set up your votifier keys so that your server can **register** votes. ### 3. When will you support X version? > We aim to provide updates to the latest minecraft versions **as soon as it is stable enough to do so**. When new versions of Minecraft are released, it often takes some time for plugin developers to update their plugins to the latest version. We can assure you that we will update our setups as soon as we can, while maintaining good performance. > > **TIP:** By using ViaVersion, you can allow newer clients to join your server, which acts as a temporary workaround while you wait for new plugins to update. ### 4. X plugin says it has an update available > You can either update the plugin yourself, or wait for us to do it when we release a newer version of the setup. You *should* be fine to just delete the .jar file and replace it with the new updated version, however in some cases it can cause issues with config files. > > To be safe, we'd recommend waiting for us to do it. ### 5. My players can't claim weekly or monthly rewards! > Weekly and Monthly rewards are unlocked at Star Levels \[6] and \[11] respectively. Alternatively, players can purchase the \[+] subscription, where they will automatically unlock weekly & monthly rewards, as well as earn 2x rewards. ### 6. How can I set up a server store? > You can set up a server store using [Tebex](https://www.tebex.io/game-servers-products-and-solutions). The free plan will provide you with everything you need. They have super helpful guides on their website, so when you set up your store they'll provide you with all the info you need! ### 7. It says "The world claiming does not exist" when I try to randomly teleport > Please refer to this page for help with [World Generation](https://docs.nexstudios.org/survival-plus-setup/world-generation). ### 7. How can I change the world name in the scoreboard? > Enter the world you want to change the name of and type **/mv modify set alias** "\"\ > For example, to change the Nether, we'd recommend **/mv modify set alias "Resource (N)"**\ > **Remember to include the ""!** ### 8. By utilizing Geyser + Floodgate, you will be able to allow players who use the Bedrock version of Minecraft to connect to your server. Here's how to get started: {% hint style="warning" %} **You may need the latest ViaVersion installed.** When new versions of Minecraft are released, Bedrock players can only join Java Servers that are on the latest versions. By utilising ViaVersion, you can allow clients to join on the latest version.\ \ Download the latest version from . (You may already be on the latest version!) {% endhint %} ## Step #1 - Install the latest GeyserMC and Floodgate Plugins Drag and drop these files into your `plugins` directory. | Plugin | Download Link | Version Needed | | ------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------- | -------------- | | GeyserMC (Spigot/Paper) | | Latest | | Floodgate (Spigot/Paper) | | Latest | ## Step #2 - Open an additional port on your panel This is often done by clicking the "Network" tab. If you can't find it, contact your hosting support team for support. ## Step #3 - Set your port Go into `plugins/GeyserMC-Spigot/config.yml` and replace the port in Line 19 with your new port.\ Then, go to Line 52 and change the port to the current port of your **Java** server. ## Step #4 - Restart your server You should now be able to join on Bedrock clients by using your server's IP and the additional port you created! The first time you start up your server may take longer than usual as it generates the texture pack. This will only happen once, as the texture pack will be cached afterwards. {% hint style="info" %} **You will be prompted to accept a texture pack when you join.** This is to allow custom skulls to load onto Bedrock clients, as they don't naturally support them. The texture pack is very small (less than a MB), and should download almost instantly. {% endhint %} # About Skyblock PLUS **NEX Servers: Skyblock PLUS** is using **SuperiorSkyblock2** as its Skyblock core. We'll try our best to help you out! {% endhint %} # Economy A strong economy is the **foundation of a successful Skyblock server**. Unlike other server setups, **we don't just use the default values** that plugins provide you with. We've meticulously created a **hybrid** and **engaging** economy to maximise player retention and build a competitive scene on your server. {% hint style="info" %} There is no "best way" to earn money on Skyblock. We've created an economy that works for all players, no matter what playstyle they prefer. Want to adjust your economy? Keep on reading to find out how! {% endhint %} # Earning Money ## 🌾 Farming Players can create elaborate farms on their island where they can then **sell their crops back to the server for a profit**. By harnessing `/skills`, players can unlock farming abilities, such as faster growing crops, increased farming luck, and crop replanting. Additionally, players can enable their `/jobs`, giving them **additional money and XP** as they level these up. Through the use of `/is upgrades`, players can **increase the crop regrowth speed** to maximise their farming potential.

## ⚙️ Generators Using correctly placed water and lava will create a Generator. Infinitely **break the generating blocks to discover rare ores** which can then be sold or crafted into blocks for island value! Players can upgrade their generators through `/is upgrades` which will **increase the chances of finding more valuable ores**!

## 💀 Mob Spawners It wouldn't be Skyblock without spawners! Mob Spawners can be purchased through **/shop** or won from crates. Players can **stack their spawners** by placing on top of existing spawners to minimise lag and clutter. By utilising Chunk Loaders, **players don't even need to be online for their spawners to function**! By using Sell Wands and our optimised hopper system, players can create sorting systems and sell their drops with ease. {% hint style="success" %} **Good to Know** Sell Wands instantly sell all the drops on a clicked chest. Chunk Loaders keep a chunk loaded even when no player is there for **5 days**. Both items can be obtained from the **/soulshop**, but players can find permanent Chunk Loaders from the Seasonal Crate. {% endhint %}

## 📋Island Missions Island Missions are a **one-off way of earning money**, and are intended for players **early into their Skyblock journey**. They provide a healthy amount of cash for completing simple one-time tasks and can be accessed through `/is missions`.

Players can earn **additional money** in a multitude of ways, including: * Star Levels (/starlevels) * Daily, Weekly & Monthly Rewards (/rewards) * Daily Quests (/quests) * Voting (/vote) * AFK Pool (/warp afk) * Jobs (/jobs) * Crates (/warp crates) {% hint style="success" %} Explore the server yourself to see how all of these features come together to create our dynamic economy! {% endhint %} # Souls & Soul Shop Souls play a vital part in the **Skyblock PLUS** Economy. Souls are obtained by killing mobs **manually**, and players have a **20% chance** of finding **5 souls** per kill. This equates to **roughly 1 soul per mob kill**. You can easily tell when you've earnt souls, as you'll a "**+5 Souls**" message in your chat box.\ \ You can then spend Souls in the **/soulshop**. Find out more about the Soul Shop below. {% hint style="success" %} **Good to Know** The Soul Shop was developed to allow free to play players to obtain some of the most sought after Premium features for free. This helps **maintain an enjoyable experience for all players**, regardless of whether they choose to spend money or not, helping to boost your player retention! {% endhint %} ## 🖥️ Commands There are three commands that can be purchased from the Soul Shop: **/workbench**, **/fly** and **/repair**. These commands, once purchased, are **permanently granted to the player** and will not expire. For each command, the lore of the item will state what rank obtains the command for free, encouraging players to support the server by making a purchase on your store!

## ✨ Perks Perks are super helpful addons that players can purchase to make their playing experience easier and more enjoyable. There are three Perks available to buy: **Silk Spawners**, **Join Message** and **Unlimited Homes**. Again, these are **permanent and will not expire**. Similar to the Commands, each Perk will inform the player which rank is given the perk for free, incentivising players to make a purchase.

## 🚀 Utility Items Utility Items are QoL items that make the **Skyblock experience easier** for your players. There are two Utility Items available to buy: **Sell Wands** and **Chunk Loaders**. Neither of these items are permanent - Sell Wands only have 100 uses and Chunk Loaders expire after **5 days**. This is intentionally designed to ensure players will always have something to buy from the Soul Shop.

## 🐕 Pets Who doesn't want a furry companion following them around! Pets are **purely cosmetic** and will simply follow their owners. There are **15 pets** available for purchase, check the image below to see all of them! Once purchased, players can equip them with /pets. Pets are permanent and will never expire. **Netherite Rank unlock all pets for free**.

# Changing the Economy To spice things up for your players, **you may want to change your economy from time to time**! This page gives you all the information you need on how to adjust the economy to keep your server fresh. {% hint style="danger" %} **Changing your Economy can have huge impacts on existing farms and player progression.** If you plan to make drastic changes to your Economy, try to do so before you open your server to the public. Players may be frustrated if you make big changes to your Economy after they have already spent time making farms and mob grinders! \ \ You may want to consider having "Seasons" for your server, with every Season resetting player progress and switching up the economy.\ \ Remember, you don't need to make all of these changes listed below! This list is designed to show you what you *can* change - it does not necessarily mean you should change everything. Sometimes simply tweaking shop sell values can make a huge difference! {% endhint %} ## 💲Changing the sell/buy prices of items in your Shop All items that can be sold to the server are configured through **EconomyShopGUI.** You can easily adjust the sell prices of items by going into `plugins/EconomyShopGUI/shops/.yml` . You can also **change the prices of items sold by the server**, for example if you want to increase the prices of some spawners. Simply change the `sell: ` line to the new sell value, then type `/sreload`. {% hint style="info" %} **Not all items can be sold. Not all items can be bought.** It's important to note that **not all items are available for purchase or to sell**. For example, decorative blocks can be purchased by players, but cannot be sold back to the server. If you wish to change any of this, simply add a new line for `sell: ` or `buy: `. {% endhint %} ## 🧾 Adjusting how much money the server gives players As mentioned in the previous page, players can also earn money from the server. Below is how to change all of the values these methods give your players. * Star Levels (/starlevels) `plugins/DeluxeMenus/gui_menus/starlevels.yml` * Daily, Weekly & Monthly Rewards (/rewards) `plugins/DailyRewards/config.yml` * Daily Quests (/quests) `plugins/oDailyQuests/config.yml` * Voting (/vote) `plugins/VoteRewards/config.yml` & `plugins/DeluxeMenus/gui_menus/vote.yml` * AFK Pool (/warp afk) `plugins/AxAFKZone/zones/.yml` * Jobs (/jobs) `plugins/Jobs/jobs/.yml` * Crates (/warp crates) `/crates editor (In-game)` {% hint style="danger" %} **Be careful when adjusting these values.** It's really easy to make a typo when configuring these files. Always **make sure you've put the correct amount of 0's**, or you may end up giving players far more money than you thought! {% endhint %} ## 💀 Coin & Soul Shop Adjustments The Coin & Soul Shops are used to obtain **powerful items** on Skyblock PLUS. You may want to consider changing costs in both shops to better suit the needs of your economy. For example, if you find there's too many Sell Wands in your economy, you can increase the price of them. You can adjust all **Coin Shop** prices in `plugins/DeluxeMenus/gui_menus/coinshop/.yml`.\ You can adjust all **Soul Shop** prices in `plugins/DeluxeMenus/gui_menus/soulshop/.yml`. # Island Information # Island Level and Worth Island Level and Worth are two statistics that every island has that helps to **determine its ranking** against other islands. By placing **valuable blocks and spawners**, players will increase their Island's Worth. The worth of blocks is determined by their /shop value. Island Levels use a different formula and **favour valuable blocks over spawners**. You can see all of the values inside the `/plugins/SuperiorSkyblock2/block-values` folder. {% hint style="danger" %} **Changing Shop values will NOT automatically update Island Level & Worth.** If you do change any shop values, it's important that you also change the Island Level & Worth in the directory above. Failure to do so may result in inconsistencies in your Economy. {% endhint %}

# Island Upgrades Island Upgrades can be purchased for **in-game cash** and are essential for maximising the potential of your island. There are **8 upgrades** that can be purchased, all explained below! * **Members Size** - Increase the amount of members your island can have at one time. * **Border Size** - Increase the size of your Island, in all dimensions. Expands your Island border. * **Spawner Boost** - Boosts the rate at which your spawners spawn mobs. * **Generator Boost** - Find more valuable ores from your Island generators. * **Crop Growth** - Boosts the rate at which crops grow on your Island. * **Premium Drops** - Increases the amount of drops mobs give **when killed manually**. * **New Dimension** - Unlock Nether and The End dimensions for more island space. * **Minecart Increase** - Increases the number of minecarts that can be placed on your Island. Island Upgrades are designed to be difficult to obtain, as they **are permanent** to the Island. Any Island Member can purchase an Island Upgrade, but it will only apply to the Island they have purchased it on. The upgrades are then applied to all members of the Island.

# Island Dimensions Players can unlock **two additional dimensions** for their Islands, giving them even **more space** to unleash their creativity, build farms, and create complex redstone contraptions. To unlock new dimensions, players can purchase the "New Dimension" /is upgrades, for **$5,000,000** and **$10,000,000** for Nether world and The End. {% hint style="warning" %} **New Island Dimensions are purely for additional space.** Island Dimensions do not provide any competitive edge, other than providing players with more space to roam and build. Players will need to build their own portals upon unlocking these Dimensions - all the materials they need can be obtained naturally or through **/shop.** {% endhint %}

X plugin says it has an update available > You can either update the plugin yourself, or wait for us to do it when we release a newer version of the setup. We've created this super handy guide to provide you with all the information you need to get started with your purchase of **NEX Servers: Lobby PLUS Setup**! Let's jump right in and get started with installation! # Installation We told you that this resource will be suitable for any aspiring server owner, no matter how experienced. You'll see from this page alone that we're honoring that commitment! We'll take you step by step through the installation process. {% hint style="info" %} We strongly recommend using an external FTP client for uploading files to your server. We'd suggest using [WinSCP](https://winscp.net/eng/download.php), but [FileZilla](https://download.filezilla-project.org/client/FileZilla_3.67.0_win64_sponsored-setup.exe) will work fine as well. {% endhint %} {% hint style="warning" %} **Turn off your server** Make sure your server is **OFFLINE** before starting Step 1! {% endhint %} ## Before you begin... This setup guide is assuming you already have a Velocity/Bungeecord instance set up and ready to go. We do not explain how to set up a network - you will need to do this yourself. In the image below, we'll be using PebbleHost as an example. Alternatively, download the Paper 1.21.10 jar from [https://papermc.io/downloads/paper](https://papermc.io/downloads/pape).

## Step #3 -> Delete all existing files and directories Since you'll be uploading the files from our setup, you need to all files currently stored on your server. ## Step #4 -> Upload the "server\_files.zip" file Upload the `server_files.zip` file into your main directory. ## Step #4 -> Extract the .zip file You'll want to use the FTP client from your hosting provider to extract a .zip file. Select the file, then click "Extract", "Unzip" or "Unarchive". The wording will differ slightly based on what provider you're using for your hosting.

## Step #5 -> Download the following Plugins There are a few plugins that cannot include in our setup as they are Premium plugins, however some developers allow you to download these for free. Download below: {% hint style="success" %} **MOST are free, BUT... consider supporting these brilliant developers!**\ These developers have produced some fantastic plugins, and while most of the developers allow you to download them for free if you wish, please consider supporting their work by purchasing them!\ \ We have provided links to both the respective paid and free (if applicable) plugins. {% endhint %}

Put all of the above plugins in your /plugins directory. ## Step #6 -> Start up your server Once everything has been extracted, you're good to go! Start up your server and enjoy the setup! {% hint style="info" %} Your server may take longer to boot than normal on the first load, as it generates core server files. Just be patient and allow it time to do its thing! {% endhint %} {% hint style="info" %} You may see some messages from plugins when you join or load up the server telling you updates are available. These messages are only visible to server operators. Please see our FAQ for more information regarding plugin updates. {% endhint %} ## Step #7 -> Granting Permissions To unlock access to all commands, type `op ` in console. You can also type `lp user group set owner` to grant yourself the Owner rank. {% hint style="success" %} #### Installation is complete! Note that unless you're using ping-passthrough on your Proxy, this MOTD will not be seen. `/plugins/TAB/config.yml` -> Lines 5, 7, 82 and 111. Replace with your respective URLs/server name/socials. `/plugins/TAB/animations.yml` -> Customise the animations and text seen at the bottom of tab. {% hint style="info" %} Restart your server to apply all of the changes you've made to the configuration files. {% endhint %} # Server Selector Editing We've dedicated an entire section to help you with selecting which server selector NPCs you need to use and how to edit the server selector GUI. ## Changing Holograms Need to change any NPC holograms? No problem. Simply go to the `plugins/DecentHolograms/holograms` folder, find the hologram you wish to change, then type **/dh reload**. ## Removing NPCs To remove a server NPC that you do not need, simply walk up to it, look at it, and type `/npc sel`. Then, ensuring the correct NPC is selected (read chat), type `/npc remove`. You can then type `/dh remove ` to remove the corresponding hologram. ## Editing Server Selector GUI To edit the server selector GUI, open the `plugins/DeluxeHub/menus/serverselector.yml` file.\ \ You'll see all of the GUI items in this file, simply remove an entire section to remove it from the GUI. This is optional and may not be suitable for smaller servers, as it will cost more money to host additional servers. Feel free to skip over this step if you don't think you'll need it! {% hint style="warning" %} **Setting up multiple lobbies is complex.**\ We do not recommend setting up multiple lobbies if you are a smaller server or fairly new to minecraft development. {% endhint %} ## Why use multiple lobbies? You might be wondering why you'd ever need more than one lobby! It's common practice in many networks to have multiple lobbies for several reasons: 1. **Less demanding on your server resources:**\ Splitting players across several lobbies means your hardware isn't trying to handle lots of players at once! Imagine you had 40 players, having two lobbies would split these 40 players across two servers, providing a more stable experience for your players. 2. **In case one lobby goes offline:**\ In many cases, you must connect to your lobby first before joining any other server. If you only had one lobby, players would be unable to connect to your server at all! Having a second (or more) lobby helps prevent this issue. 3. **A private place for certain groups:**\ Need a private space for your staff members to relax in? What about a private premium lobby for your ranked players? This is all possible with multiple lobbies. ## Setting up another lobby 1. To set up another lobby, simply follow the [Installation ](/lobby-plus-setup/installation)tutorial on both of the lobbies you plan to use. 2. Add the lobby to your velocity/bungeecord setup with the name "lobby-\". For example, lobby-2. (Make sure your first lobby is called lobby-1 as well!) 3. Then, using a plugin like [ajQueue](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/ajqueue.78266/), you can make players split between several lobbies when they connect. 4. You can also edit your velocity.toml file (or similar on Bungeecord) to set your fallback servers:

When will you support X version? > We aim to provide updates to the latest minecraft versions **as soon as it is stable enough to do so**. When new versions of Minecraft are released, it often takes some time for plugin developers to update their plugins to the latest version. We can assure you that we will update our setups as soon as we can, while maintaining good performance. > > **TIP:** By using ViaVersion, you can allow clients newer than your server version to join your server, which acts as a temporary workaround while you wait for new plugins to update. ### 3. X plugin says it has an update available > You can either update the plugin yourself, or wait for us to do it when we release a newer version of the setup. My players can't claim weekly or monthly rewards! > Weekly and Monthly rewards are unlocked with ranks Gold and Diamond respectively. When I fall into the void I die! > Opped players/players with administrator permissions will bypass the void protection trigger.
