# Island Upgrades

Island Upgrades can be purchased for **in-game cash** and are essential for maximising the potential of your island. There are **8 upgrades** that can be purchased, all explained below!

* **Members Size** - Increase the amount of members your island can have at one time.
* **Border Size** - Increase the size of your Island, in all dimensions. Expands your Island border.
* **Spawner Boost** - Boosts the rate at which your spawners spawn mobs.
* **Generator Boost** - Find more valuable ores from your Island generators.
* **Crop Growth** - Boosts the rate at which crops grow on your Island.
* **Premium Drops** - Increases the amount of drops mobs give **when killed manually**.
* **New Dimension** - Unlock Nether and The End dimensions for more island space.
* **Minecart Increase** - Increases the number of minecarts that can be placed on your Island.

Island Upgrades are designed to be difficult to obtain, as they **are permanent** to the Island. Any Island Member can purchase an Island Upgrade, but it will only apply to the Island they have purchased it on. The upgrades are then applied to all members of the Island.
